An easy trail along Široká dolina (valley) with views of northern gullies of Mt Chopok and Mt Ďumbier.

Starting point: upper station of the Funitel cable car on Mt Chopok 2,004 m a.s.l.

Finish: Lúčky, bus stop

Trail description: Take the red tourist trail past the Kamenná chalet along the ridge to Demänovské sedlo (saddle). Turn left there and follow the yellow trail. After about 20 minutes, turn left to change to the green trail and continue along Široká dolina (valley) and the brook of Demänovka to Lúčky. Alternative route 3a: Over Mt Tanečnica and across the saddle of Javorie: Take the yellow tourist trail from Demänovské sedlo along a side ridge over Mt Tanečnica to the saddle of Javorie. Turn left there, take the red trail, then the green trail and continue to Lúčky (+1 km, 45 min).
